An Empty Beach Fills my Soul

The smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves, the feel of the sand on my toes… I think I have found my favorite place to wander.
Where we wandered

Beach Rules: Soak up the sun. Ride the waves. Breathe the salty air. Feel the breeze. Build sand castles. Rest, relax, reflect. Collect seashells. Bare-feet required.

A beach is not only a sweep of sand, but shells of sea creatures, the sea glass, the seaweed, the incongruous objects washed up by the ocean.

To Meander aimlessly along the shore is soothing to my soul.

  1. love the pics…its still winter in Colorado so the beach always looks good. Your post reminded of a time when I was in Japan walking along the beach – I found a handful of sea glass and china of all things. Of course I kept it and brought it home. It sits in a shallow dish and takes me back to that place every time!
