Today was another dreary day in Southern Ontario, not a great day for photographing nature. However, I had an assignment so I donned my raincoat and boots, grabbed my camera and wandered around the property looking for leading lines. I headed down to the creek hoping to find the perfect photo.
Nearby was a weedy patch which offered some interesting closeups, with lines.
I circled back to the pond, it started to rain and I was able to catch Mother Nature drawing circles in the water.
Please be kind and leave a comment, I would love to hear your opinion, your favorite, what worked and what didn’t.
I like the water pictures and what looks to be cat tails. (The last one). Nice shots. Your area sounds lovely. I have never been to Canada. I’m all the way in south Louisiana.

I do live in a great area, its still winter though. I have Louisiana on my bucket list, so maybe soon I will drive down to your state.

My favourites are the very first photo and the first circles on water picture.

Love the close ups, also love how you’ve arranged the images into the different segments of your walk

Some really great shots! I especially like the raindrops…mostly because its been raining here too and I didn’t think to do that! Nor do I think I can capture the rings….thanks for the idea and challenge.

I saw the lines in the circles and hoped it would work.

I couldn’t resist when it started raining and I saw the circular lines.

Like the way you isolated the subjects in the pod series. Love the off balance cattail composition!

Wow. Beautifully shot and beautifully laid out. I am not going to pick a favourite photo because the collection works so well as a whole and they’re all so lovely.

Beautiful! I love the “reflection” photo with twigs reflected in the pond.
